About

I am  passionate about working with people experiencing Life’s transitions. I am a trained Psychotherapist and Relationship Counsellor, as well as an Holistic Kinesiologist.

My initial working life was as an actor; attracted to the task of working out what makes a character tick? However, wanting to contribute in a  more meaningful way to the world, led me to 14 years working within the education sector as a behavioural therapist and tactile therapist with children with special needs.

Having experienced depression for long periods of my life, and finding my way through this, with talk therapy and alternative therapies; I decided I wanted to work with people navigating life’s up’s and downs. Always interested in an alternative narrative and fascinated by the energetic nature of our world, I studied Holistic Kinesiology.  Again I was presented with the mind emotion body connection and how this influences Health on all levels.

Heading into private practice as a Kinesiologist, after two years I decided to get formal qualifications in Counselling, Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Human Services from Latrobe University. This led to studying and completing an internship in Relationship and Couples Counsellor with Relationships Australia. Recently I studied with Stan Tatkin,  a Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy becoming a PACT Level 1 practitioner.

I have undertaken further training in grief and loss, attachment theory, trauma, family therapy and most recently completed studies in being a Death Doula.
